although i will be there, and i think its great the movement in NYC has spread to boston, and now
other cities, austin city hall is NOT the best place in terms of getting media coverage, participants,
and making our statement...compared to the us govt, crony capitalism, etc. our local city hall is pretty
open and not corrupt. WE SHOULD PROTEST AT BANK AMERICA FLAGSHIP HQ, AT SIXTH AND CONGRESS;
this bank is the most corrupt bank in the country; they have forced millions out of their homes; they are being
sued by 50 state AG's; austin city hall and the city government of austin has ZERO to do with the current
economic political scene, nationwide, or worldwide.
i suggest the next time, we move our rally point to BofA, at sixth and congress. or any of the banks up and down congress.
Occupy Austin is not going to be sedentary at city hall. Current plans are to have daily marches and occupations at/in the nearby banks. Because the occupation is planned to span a significant time period, there is plenty of opportunity to put your voice in and propose a specific spot to focus on.
